Cycling Without Age is a Nonprofit organization founded in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2012. By 2020, this initiative has expanded into 50 countries, serving over 1.5 million people worldwide.
We are dedicated to being the primary source of information and support to people with Down syndrome, their families and the professional community, working towards an improved quality of life for our members along with a respect and acceptance of people with Down syndrome as valued members of society.
Safer commuting for people who cycle
The government has plans since late 2013 for a large segregated cycling network for Dublin. This project just needs to be funded to go ahead and people will be able to commute safely in and out of work. This plan is called the Greater Dublin Area Cycle Network Plan.
